The Kansas Area Methodist Foundation, Inc. was organized and chartered in Kansas by the Methodist Annual Conferences then in existence in Kansas, as a non-profit corporation on September 1, 1964, to help maintain and further the programs and missions of The Methodist Church in Kansas.​
