President & CEO

Dustin has been with the Foundation since July 2018. He is passionate about helping individuals and families be good stewards of the resources God entrusted them. Dustin also has a desire to see churches, agencies, and institutions invest their resources in socially responsible ways. In his role, Dustin helps individuals, churches, and related organizations activate their ministry potential in their community. Dustin is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and served as a local pastor for 18 years, including communities and congregations across Kansas and Nebraska. He serves on the General Council on Finance and Administration of the United Methodist Church as Chair of the Fiduciary, Foundation, and Property Matters Committee and the Investment Committee. Dustin is a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science, Agribusiness. He received a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Saint Paul School of Theology, a Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Wesley Theological Seminary.​

Chief Development Officer

Tyler joined the Foundation staff as the Chief Development Officer in August 2021. Tyler brings more than 20 years of experience in education and development to the Foundation. In his role, Tyler serves individuals, churches and related organizations through donor development, working to inspire generosity and facilitate giving to meet their charitable goals in life and via estate planning. Prior to working with the Foundation, Tyler worked in University Advancement, Alumni Relations, and Governmental Affairs at Emporia State University. His experience also includes secondary education and administration, where he served as a teacher and principal. Tyler holds a Bachelors of Education and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from ESU as well as an Executive Certificate in Transformational Non-Profit Leadership from Notre Dame. He and his family are active members of Emporia First United Methodist Church.​

Director of Finance

Gloria joined the Foundation staff in December 2005. Since 2015, Gloria serves the Foundation as the Director of Finance. In her current role, Gloria is responsible for all accounting functions of the Foundation, including month end reports and statements sent to clients, payroll, various tax form preparations, oversight of the Certificate of Participation and Church Development Loan Fund programs, providing oversight and reporting on the investment funds, and processes donations of securities and other gifts. Gloria has held several positions at the Foundation, including Administrative Assistant and Director of External Relations. Gloria graduated from Emporia State University with a B.S. in Business Administration.​

Communications Associate

As our Communications Associate, Rachel manages our communications and marketing efforts while also helping to run our office.
A native of Denver, Rachel has lived in Hutchinson since 2002, where she raised her 20-year-old daughter, Morgan. With a degree in English and Community Journalism, she worked for The Hutchinson News for 16 years, filling roles as a writer, editor, designer, and Multimedia Marketing Specialist.
Rachel has worked as a marketing professional since 2019 and brings a wide range of skills, including writing, graphic design, videography, photography, and website development.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys running, dancing, and completing home projects. Her first love, though, is her family. She is a triplet and has a special connection with her two brothers, Joel and Alex, who both reside in Thornton, Colorado. She adores her amazing daughter, Morgan, who is a junior at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, studying Microbiology.
Morgan also has loving support from her father, Mitch Hixson, a trust officer at People’s Bank and Trust in Hutchinson, and her grandparents, Sharon and Warren Hixson, who also reside in Hutchinson.
