Over the last year, the Foundation staff and board took the opportunity to both reflect on the past and dream about the future.
Since 1964, the Kansas Area United Methodist Foundation has been a trusted financial partner for Methodist churches, organizations and members as they made progress on their God-appointed missions. Yet, there is so much more God is calling us to make happen for the Church. Equipped with an abundance mindset, common vision for ministry/mission, and financial tools, we believe we can help you make a greater difference in ministry.
With this in mind, we’re simplifying our name to Kansas Methodist Foundation. We’re updating our core message, in order to rally around churches, organizations, and faithful people across the Methodist tradition to turn the possibilities for ministry into reality. We’re also introducing a new logo to visually demonstrate our core idea of “activating ministry potential.” This mark combines the Biblical symbolism of seeds and the energy of faithful disciples empowered by the Spirit.
Our vision is to help ministry grow in Kansas and, in partnership with you, around the world. We believe the potential is great and God has called us to live lives of gratefulness and generosity. God is beckoning us all to accomplish more than we think possible.
